Tropical Storm Daniel likely to become Pacific hurricane

Tropical Storm Daniel has formed in the eastern Pacific and it shows signs of further strengthening.
According to US National Hurricane Center's (NHC) latest public advisory, the center of Tropical Storm Daniel was located near latitude 14.2N and longitude 11.7W and was moving toward the west at speed near 20 km/h (13 mph) and this general motion is forecast to continue, followed by a turn to the west. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 95 km/h (60 mph) with higher gusts. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 95 km (60 miles) from the center. Estimated minimum pressure is 997 MB.
Tropical Storm Daniel is expected to become a hurricane on Friday.
