Magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck near Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Strong earthquake measuring M4.7 struck Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 27, 2012 at 23:12:23 UTC according to EMSC. The epicenter was located 1 km E from Zenica and 18 km NW from Kakanj (44.194°N, 17.896°E) at depth of 2 km. USGS reports a M4.6 at a depth of 5.2 km.
An aftershock measuring M4.2 has occurred 30 minutes after the mainshock.
There were no major damage but there are some reports of cracks in the walls and bricks falling of the rooftops. The earthquake was felt in most parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in cities like Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Goraždue, Bihac as well as in Serbia and Croatia.
