A moderate solar flare reaching M1.3 peaked on August 30, 2012. This event started at 12:02, peaked at 12:11 UTC and ended at 12:14. The source of this solar flare was new sunspot rotating into view off the eastern limb.
There is 15% chance of another M-class, and 1% chance of X-class solar flare.
