"November Sky" – Time-lapse by InFocus Imagery

This amazing timelapse by talented Zoltan Kenwell – InFocus Imagery – was captured in the morning of November 24, 2012, about 30 km east of Bashaw, Alberta, Canada.

"The forecast was looking very promising for a fantastic display. A more or less direct impact from a CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) from the sun. I had heavy cloud cover in my location which meant I had to do a bit of a road trip to find clear skies. While the aurora did put on a show, it was not a super active event. The energy from the sun just vanished. It was still a beautiful evening on the Alberta prairies though. There are a few spots where the clouds obscured the moonlight in this video, which provided some interesting contrast changes as the shadows rolled by." Zoltan Kenwell
