Timelapse of a supercell near Booker, Texas

timelapse-of-a-supercell-near-booker-texas

After four years of searching for perfect supercell in the Central Plains, photographer Mike Olbinski from Arizona and his friend Andy Hoeland captured an amazing rotating supercell near Booker, Texas. Rotating clouds looking like "alien spacecraft hanging over the Earth" formed on June 3, 2013. You can read how they chase the storm and what troubles they had to overpass on Mike's website.

The timelapse was shot on a Canon 5D Mark II with a Rokinon 14mm 2.8 lens.
