Large filament eruption and second moderate solar flare from Region 1875
Active Region 1875 erupted with second M-class solar flare today. The latest event started 14:49, peaked at 15:20 as M1.0 solar flare and ended at 15:28 UTC.
The same region, Beta-Gamma-Delta classified AR 1875, delivered short duration M1.0 solar flare at 00:22 UTC today. This region is now almost at the center of the disk, the perfect place to send CME's toward Earth. AR 1875 has potential to create major eruptions on the Sun.
An Earth-directed CME was generated when large magnetic filament erupted around 04:00 UTC. It is expected to reach Earth around 10:00 UTC on October 25 with very little geomagnetic impact.
