Violent hailstorm wreaks havoc across Conscripto Bernardi, Argentina
An extremely intense, short-lasting, rainstorm accompanied with strong winds and large hail hit Conscripto Bernardi in Argentina in the late afternoon (local time) on November 9, 2015.

The storm caused severe damage to buildings and other infrastructure and cut off power supplies and telecommunication services across the small town. Hail balls have been reported the size of a tennis ball, measuring over 15 cm (5.9 inches) in diameter.

This extreme weather event was of the local nature and only affected Conscripto Bernardi, a small town in Argentina with a population of 2 000, as no damage was reported across the surrounding areas.
