M 6.0 earthquake struck southwest of Tonga
Strong M 6.0 earthquake (EMSC) occurred near Tonga at 20:32 UTC on October 24, 2013. The epicenter was located 268 km SW of Nuku'alofa, Tonga and 675 km SE of Suva, Fiji at depth of 60 km. The epicenter was located at coordinates 22.502°S 176.512°W. GEOFON recorded M 5.9. USGS registered M 5.4 at depth of 89 km.

There was no tsunami generated and there are no report of any damage.
