Severe hailstorm swept through parts of southwestern Saskatchewan, Canada on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.

According to media reports, the hardest hit was the town of Kerrobert, where dozens of buildings and wehicles were damaged by golf ball-sized hail. About two-thirds of the houses in the town have broken windows.

According to Global News meteorologist Peter Quinlan, the storm was carrying downpours of up to 300 mm (11.8 inches) per hour.

Many residents said the storm was one of the worst they have ever seen.
